Galv-a-Dock -
Our framework is the backbone
of the system.
It is unequaled in strength and durability. Our
framework features a custom milled tubing size twice the
strength of conventional pipe. It eliminates bending, allows
a straight and level dock that provides a longer life. One piece
welded steel brackets ensure maximum framework strength. The
brackets and tubing are hot-dip galvanized to prevent rust,
ensuring it to be a maintenance free system. Zinc-plated
steel setscrews are
coated with an anti-seize graphite lubricant, that and all of our
components being of hot dipped galvanized steel eliminates
any chance of frozen screws for years to come.
Galv-a-Dock –
The decks present an aesthetic
quality
that will generate pride.
You have your choice of
state-of-the-art plastic; either beige or white or clear cedar (available in Minnesota
only). Our one piece, molded plastic deck provides an anti-slip
texture, which is comfortable for sitting or sunbathing and is
aesthetically consistent and clean looking year after year.
Longer lasting means less cost over its lifespan. Durable and
maintenance free, your Galv-a-Dock system provides the maximum protection for your
boat.
Galv-a-Dock
- Our boathouses are totally engineered
to the dock system.
The combined strength of the boathouse and dock has provided the
ultimate protection for boats from Mother Nature's harsh
elements, withstanding severe winds in excess of
100 mph during a storm.
The boathouse is available in various lengths, widths and
heights to fit your boat. The heavy-duty vinyl has
electro-welded seams, that create a solid piece of strength and
durability. With one walkway covered, your boat is easy to
secure, access and maintain.
Galv-a-Dock

dock you’ll ever buy!
Galv-a-Dock
- Your limitation is your need of our dock.
Galv-a-Dock products
cannot be matched. Our history has proven that boats moored in
our slips have been able to withstand excessive severe winds
that have been clocked at over 100 mph.
Galv-a-Dock allows
you to moor any boat within inland lakes, even large houseboats
or wide body cruisers up to 43’ in length and up to 27,000 lbs. in
weight.
Galv-a-Dock

a large sunning deck on either the left or the right located on the lake
end of the dock.
The

system.
Galv-a-Dock
- Easy installation and removal.
The
Galv-a-Dock system became popular because it is so easy
to install and remove. Floating the dock on a barrel means you
don’t have to get wet to install or remove the dock. This
procedure is simple when using our specially designed service
tools. These can be viewed on our promotional video.
Float the end of the framework on the barrel and slide the
framework tubing into the previously installed bracket. Slide
the deck onto the framework and insert the vertical tubing into
the bracket. Using a sleeve hammer, pound the
structural grade tubing into the ground until firm, then level
the section with our leveling jack. It’s that easy!
The
only way that is easier to install your dock is to have your authorized
Galv-a-Dock
dealer install it for you. Our
Galv-a-Dock
dealers have been selected from the best in service. If they
come across any problem or custom-design layout they can’t
handle, they have direct access to our engineering staff with
over 100 years of combined experience.
Summary of WHAT sets Galv-a-Dock apart from
all other docks...
1. Galv-a-Dock
is the most stable dock product. That comes from
the above water steel
framework that eliminates side sway, with the vertical posts
being
driven into the lake-bed approximately 12" to 16".
2. Due to the rigidity of the tubular framework there has been
minimal
storm damage from excessive high winds to Galv-a-Dock docks
and
boathouse structures to date.
3. The Galv-a-Dock
boathouse is an alternative protection for boats up
to 43' in length, rather than boatlifts that are limited by the
boat's excessive weight along with considerable water depth loss
from boat lift under water framework. The boathouse provides protection
and can be used in soft ground conditions
and/or shallower water.
4. The Galv-a-Dock
steel framework rigid design allows you to have up
to a 10’4" wide super sundeck section without a middle of the
deck post
to interfere. Be sure to check with your state DNR agency
regarding their width limitations.
5. The above water method of installation allows Galv-a-Dock
to be
installed in water conditions up to 14' deep, it is ideal in
soft ground conditions by adding a base plate. The above water
installation method is the fastest way of installing docks or removal while staying dry.
6. The decking, bench, bumpers and dock locker boxes are rotationally molded plastic components, available in white
or beige. Due to the design and engineering the plastic decks:
a.
are the coolest decks to walk on
because of their light colors. The air pocket in each deck
help it stay cool.
b.
use
Galv-a-Dock's
molded components which eliminates the
possibility of boat damage or individual injuries because there
are no exposed sharp metal edges.
c.
have an aesthetically
consistent texture and anti-slip finish consistent in color
year after year.
d.
from Galv-a-Dock
last longer than
wood decks, are quieter and safer than aluminum decks which can
have sharp edges
that may cause cuts to individuals. They do not have the sharp edges
that the PVC extruded decking material have because they are not bolted
together.
e. are the most durable
decking; it resists boat impact or service wear and tear and is virtually indestructible.
