Galv-A-Dock Leveling Jack
A leveling jack is a tool designed to raise the dock to a desired height by locking it to the vertical pipe for support. One end is comprised of a hook, while the other end consists of a piece of pipe. To use the leveling jack, you place the hook portion against the underside steel framework dock. By applying some weight to the leveling jack handle, it reduces the dock installer’s weight on the dock. The downward pressure onto the pipe end of the jack will place vertical force on the hook, causing the dock to raise to the desired height. For an alternative dock raising tool, you may purchase a comealong/power pull for a big box hardware store.
